Instagram business account, how to create one?

Kurato now only works with Instagram Business accounts. To make sure that Kurato is properly connected to your Instagram account and is able to publish the posts you scheduled, you need to make sure you account is currently an Instagram Business account.

Create a Facebook account

For those who do not yet have an account on this social network, go to Facebook and click on the "Create an account" button.

Once you have filled in all the fields and completed all the registration steps, you will be taken to your dashboard with your news feed.

Create a company page

Having a company page is a must if you want to publish posts on it. Many community managers have made a habit of posting on both Instagram and Facebook. But back to business. To create your company page, click on "Pages" in the left-hand menu and then "Create a page".

Link the page to the Instagram account

Once the page is created, click on the Settings tab in the left sidebar.

Click on Instagram on the left hand side, then click on Connect Account at the top of the screen.

Enter your Instagram login details and confirm by clicking on "Login". (If you are already logged in to Instagram or if your login details are saved in the browser, just click on "Continue").

You will then see a pop-up window prompting you to set up your Instagram business account. Follow the instructions on the screen, making sure to enter your contact information. Finally, click "Done".

You should see your account associated with Instagram.
